Record number of nonprofits receive grants from SIA Foundation

 The SIA Foundation awarded $77,514.19 in grants to 13 Indiana nonprofits. This grant cycle breaks the record for the largest amount given by the foundation in a single grant cycle and the most nonprofits receiving a grant in one cycle. A ceremony was held at Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. today to award the organizations and present them with their grant. Recipients of this grant cycle represent Allen, Hancock, Marion, and Tippecanoe counties.

Eleven Indiana Nonprofits Receive SIA Foundation Capital Grants

LAFAYETTE, IN — The SIA Foundation awarded nearly $90,000 in capital grants to 11 Indiana charitable organizations at a ceremony held at Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. today. Representing the Winter 2017 grant cycle, this marks the largest grant dollars’ distribution to-date for the Foundation. Recipients represented Allen, Hamilton, Jefferson, Marion, Montgomery, Tippecanoe, Porter, and Vigo counties.  Since its establishment in 1997, the SIA Foundation has awarded more than $1.3 million to fund the needs of Hoosiers.

Ten Indiana Nonprofits Receive SIA Foundation Grants

The SIA Foundation awarded over $85,000 in grants to 10 Indiana charitable organizations at a ceremony held at Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. today. Representing the Spring 2017 grant cycle, this marks the largest grant dollars’ distribution to-date for the Foundation. Recipients represented Clinton, Hamilton, Lake, Marion, Tippecanoe, Vigo and Wabash counties.  Since its establishment in 1997, the SIA Foundation has awarded more than $1.3 million to fund the needs of Hoosiers.

Twelve Indiana Nonprofits Receive SIA Foundation Grants

The SIA Foundation awarded nearly $70,000 in grants to 12 Indiana charitable organizations at a ceremony held at Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. today. Representing the December 2015 grant cycle, this marks the largest grant distribution to-date for the Foundation. Recipients represented Cass, Dearborn, Delaware, Huntington, Marion and Tippecanoe counties.  These grants bring the total amount awarded to Indiana nonprofits in 2015 to over $132,000. Since its establishment in 1997, the SIA Foundation has awarded more than $1 million to fund the needs of Hoosiers. 

SIA Foundation Awards Over $62,000 in Grants; Over $1 Million Since Inception

Representatives from nine Indiana non-profit organizations gathered today at SIA’s Training and Reception Center as $62,840.50 in capital grants were awarded by the SIA Foundation.

 

The SIA Foundation awards grants twice a year to Indiana not-for-profit organizations which seek funding for capital projects in one of three areas – arts and culture, health and welfare, or education.

 

Grants awarded during the current grant cycle marked over $1 million in capital grants awarded to Indiana non-profits since the foundation was established in 1997.
